Ingredients

  • 1 Cheese topped bun
  • 1 large beef burger (4.5 inches)
  • 2 onion rings
  • 2 slices of American cheese
  • ½ tbsp. Ketchup
  • 2 slices gherkin
  • 2 slices red onion
  • 1 little gem lettuce leaf

Serves 1

Method

  • Cook the burger and onion rings according to manufacturer instructions
  • Warm the bun in an oven for about 5 minutes at 180°c
  • Place the cheese slices on the cooked burger and place in an oven or under a grill until the cheese is melted
  • Place the lettuce on the base of the bun followed by the burger patties with cheese, red onion, gherkins, onion rings, ketchup and bun lid.
